DO YOU KNOW YOUR DATE OF BIRTH? OF COURSE YOU DO. HOW ABOUT YOUR AGE OF DEATH?

I TELL MY CHILDREN, I’M LIVING TO AGE 148 TO WHICH THEY RESPOND, “BUY MORE LIFE INSURANCE.”

WHEN I TELL STRANGERS, I’M LIVING TO 148, THEY LOOK AT ME LIKE I’M CRAZY AND HAVE THIS PICTURE OF ME AS A DRIED UP PRUNE IN A WHEELCHAIR.

Eight years ago, my wife Lorie and I visited Human Longevity Inc, in LaJolla California. Longevity is run by famed Longevity Researcher, Dr. Craig Venter, who was the first person to map the human genome. That’s what we had done. The results- all positive and a map for living to 148.

We began working with Dr Jeff Gladden, of Gladden Longevity Clinic in Dallas, Texas to set a course for what it will take to live to 148.

When you set an outrageous goal, the world will throw out every reason why it’s impossible to achieve. Astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, testified before Congress in 2013, that there was no way Elon Musk and SpaceX could get us to the space station let alone the Moon and Mars. It only took Musk 9 years to prove the man wrong. Now, I’m no Elon Musk, but if he can set an outrageous goal, why can’t I?

Years ago my primary physician told me, ”Charlie, with your family history of high blood pressure and heart disease you will be on cholesterol and blood pressure medication your entire life.” Dr. Gladden, a cardiologist-turned-longevityactivist disagreed.

In just 3 short years, working with Jeff and my new longevity mindset, I am delighted to tell you I am off all my medications. Diet, exercise, sleep, supplements and a mindset dedicated to living a longer vibrant healthy life has been my source of longevity.

I recently asked an actuary at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, what is the actuarial life expectancy of a baby born today?

“120” he said without blinking.

A life insurance illustration goes to Age 121- when I started in the business in 1979 the illustrations went to Age 80! That’s a 50% improvement in life expectancy in 40 years!!

The most important element in the longevity formula is your MINDSET.

You wake up every day and play a game with your mind called “goal setting.” You set a goal for how much money you want to make; the trips you want to take; the weight you want to lose; the relationship you want to have. You set a goal for everything, so why not do the same with your longevity?

There is now an entire Medical community focused on longevity, focused on reversing the aging process. Benjamin Button here I come.

By the way when people ask my wife Lorie what’s your age of death she will tell you 156.

“156? Why do you get to live to 156 and Charlie only gets to live to 148?” they ask.

“Because I want 8 years without the “rat bastard” around, she smiles!

People say to me, what if you don’t live to 148 then what?

So I only make it to 125...still beats 80, and works for me!

The only problem I see with this longevity game is not whether you win or lose, but, if you plan to live to 140 or beyond- you best get your finances in order now, so your money doesn’t run out before you do. Time to change your “money-mindset,” as well.

Interested in learning how- just email me at charlie@ yieldofdreams.live or call 413-478-8580 and lets start a conversation for possibility of living to 148 and making sure your money does too.

Start exercising, your mind, body and finances.

See you next issue. Peace Charlie.
